Third-person POV
The sight of Ishidzu was nice during that 20-meter walk to the entrance of the royal palace. Basilio and Katsuko took pictures of their surroundings like tourists, while Chivo, Kahraman, Ormoc, and others marveled by how unique the metropolis was; Ormoc and Paulina saw how it was different from the typical anime/manga/manhwa tropes of a medieval capital city they were used to.
But the march to the main house of the palace was interrupted by the captain of the royal guards, an 18-year-old Japanese Otherworlder named Kobayashi Nakatomi. But he wasn't alone; he has a harem of 5 girls with him. "Halt!" he roared at the group at the main gate to the main house.
Seeing that, Basilio and his group were stunned and dumbfounded by what he is by just staring at his harem. "Kobayashi, this is an official diplomatic meeting with the shogun," Lyam annoyingly responded, "so please move."
"Ha! Unless you want me to show my Eastern Sun powers, commander!" Kobayashi grinned as his harem stared at him with adoration.
Twitching his left eye, Basilio commented, "Is this for real…?"
"Come on!" Katsuko wailed in annoyance; his black gakuran uniform was in stark contrast with Kobayashi's royal guard attire. "Is this the trope of 'Is It wrong to Pick Up Girls at a Royal Gate'?"
"Am I being familiar with this?" Paulina muttered.
"Don't even ask…" Basilio and Katsuko responded at the same time.
"Hey!" Kobayashi's voice crackled out as if he was annoyed at their remarks on him composure. "At least show some respect to me!"
"Kobayashi, you're lower than the Shogun here…!" Lyam fired back.
Before Kobayashi would retort, a figure, draped in light blue and black yukata and holding a Japanese paper fan (having the designs of the waves of Japanese art and the bamboos of Falleta), was behind him.
"What are you doing, Kobayashi-san?" his voice said coldly with authority.
Kobayashi and his harem froze in fear; they know who that person was.
It was Maximilian Ōshiro himself!
