Valoria didn't hesitate for a moment after hearing this and immediately nodded her head in acceptance while saying, 'This is only natural, and I naturally accept that.' She didn't put any more words forward than that, nor did she feel there was any need to do so. It was entirely unnecessary at that point.
'Good!' A smile bloomed on Kallus's face immediately afterward, and he nodded his head approvingly at the attitude Valoria displayed in this matter. Her lack of hesitation in making her stance clear made him much more inclined to help her with a greater level of sincerity.
Valoria didn't know it, but she had just dodged a bullet by being quick with her actions, firm with her priorities, and staying grounded. Had she shown any hesitation here, she might have been dealt with much differently soon after. The future collaboration between the two of them would have been a bit off, so to speak. The alliance would have remained, but that joy of true friendship would have been lost.
