Skyler could feel his death approaching.
And he didn't resist it.
Although his appearance hadn't changed much due to the Divine Elements, his body's lifespan had long since reached its limit.
Yet, just as he was about to accept death and disappear like others, he had a dream.
A very, very beautiful dream.
In that dream, he wasn't alone.
Someone stood beside him.
An innocent, beautiful white creature with crimson eyes followed him as though he were its salvation and never left his side.
Skyler's lips curled into a smile as he watched the dream unfold in his mind.
He knew from the beginning that it was only a dream. That it wasn't really real.
But he didn't wake up. He didn't break it. Instead, he quietly watched until the end.
The Skyler within the dream seemed to have forgotten a lot of things, living an entirely new life as though he had never experienced those countless failures.
