The mage didn't reply for a moment, the beads of sweat grew in numbers as his whole body was now totally drenched.

“H…he… I can't! His aura, his mana, his magic is growing. He is growing rapidly, I can't tame him. I can't. He's too…”

Meanwhile, in the shadow realm, Grey smirked as he lifted his hand and made a slashing motion in the air in front of him.

Summoned by a celestial, the seal placed on his core was shattered and there he was appraised.

Confident, he enrolled at Lunaria academy. One of the four great magical academies.

Here, he meets awesome mages, forged bonds and most especially, rivalries.

With his squad, Grey blitzed through enemies… portal breaks, dungeons, bandits, kingdom invasion, he was clearing them all.

But it wasn't enough.

The foe the world was up against were not weak by any means. The Otherworlders!

A sinister smile crept on his face hidden beneath his devilish mask as his glowing eyes narrowed at the man before him.

They darted backward and came back again in a fierce slam of their elemental weapons, causing a huge explosion to ripple out that forced the ground apart for a second.


Grey panted as he quickly blinked from view and reappeared on the ground. 


They had been in the air constantly colliding with one another, yet he hadn't even been able to find an opening he could capitalize on.


 Even though he had more affinities than his father, the man was still a massive problem due to his teleportation ability.


He could lock the ability down with one of his spatial magic skills, but he doubted if it would work at all. 


The man before him was an Original—one of the first ever mages in human history. 


Knowing that he had been studied for years, he knew the man would have known about his affinity and, in the same sense, seen it work since he had used it against Upper Zodiac Five before.
