"Can we get the couple's special, please?"

"Of course, but you do need to prove that you two are a couple."
"Would a kiss be enough as proof?"
"Jeff..."
"Yes, that would be more than enough."
After riding the bus, Jeff and Klea arrived at the Capital's shopping mall for their date.
Since it was already noon, their first destination was the food court on the top floor, where Jeff quickly spotted what he was hoping to find—a café offering a couple's special event.
While still holding Klea's left hand with his right, Jeff grabbed her by the waist, pulling her closer until their bodies pressed against each other. He leaned in and whispered to her.
"It's not like we've never kissed before," he said, then looked at Klea, waiting for her response—or rather, waiting for her to kiss him on her own.
Coming on a date with Jeff meant that she had agreed to give him a chance, as he had asked before they got on the bus.
