After wandering around the mall for the entire afternoon, dinner went exactly as planned earlier, and everyone went together to eat roast duck.
After finishing the meal and dropping Hajime back home, Ichin and the others finally returned home as well.
"Ahh~~ Even though it's cooler at night, home is still the most comfortable place."
The moment she entered, Haruno casually flopped onto the sofa.
The air conditioner at home had been running the entire day, so there was no need to worry about the couch being hot at all.
Utaha put down the two shopping bags she was carrying and looked at Haruno.
"Haruno-san, now that we're back, go take a shower first. We already said on the way back that we're watching a movie together tonight."

"How about Godzilla?"

The two of them hadn't seen it either and both nodded together.
Although Ichin had already watched it before, it had been quite a long time ago, so he agreed as well.
The Godzilla movie directed by Hideaki Anno was pretty unique in every sense of the word. It definitely wasn't something that suited everyone's tastes, but it was still perfectly fine to watch, and certain parts of it were genuinely interesting.

Though there still didn't seem to be any news about whether Shin Ultraman would get a sequel.
The two-hour movie once again reminded Ichin just how unsettling and biologically bizarre that version of Godzilla felt, while Utaha and Yukino, who rarely watched tokusatsu films, were completely absorbed in it.
As for Haruno, there was no need to even mention her.
From beginning to end, she watched with intense excitement and even declared that she wanted to rewatch all the EVA movies afterward.
Ichin already owned the Blu-ray collection of the Evangelion movies, so they could watch them anytime they wanted.
After the movie ended, Ichin looked at the still excited Haruno and said:
"Haruno-nee, it's already past ten. Don't start thinking about staying up all night, alright? We still have work tomorrow."
"I know~~ I was only saying it casually. It's not like I'm planning to watch them tonight."
Haruno smiled and waved her hand.
"How about we all watch them together tomorrow night?"
"Sure, tomorrow it is."
After turning off all the equipment in the theater room, everyone brushed their teeth, washed up, and returned to their rooms to rest.
After lying in bed and scrolling through their phones for ten minutes, Ichin turned off the lights and went to sleep.
As for any nighttime activities, there would be none tonight. Everyone was a little tired.
Leaning against Ichin's chest, Utaha closed her eyes and said:
"Yukino, tomorrow are you driving to campus yourself, or should we take you?"

"I won't drive tomorrow. After arriving at campus in the morning, we'll be heading out in the afternoon, and once it's over, I'll just come straight home instead of returning to campus."
Ichin nodded and wrapped his left arm around Yukino.
"Then let's head out together tomorrow morning. Once you're done in the afternoon, give me a call and I'll come pick you up. If I don't have time, I'll have Kō or someone else from the company come instead."
Monday was meeting day at the company, and there were plenty of things he needed to arrange for the new week.
Still, with so many people working under him, if he truly didn't have time, sending someone else would also be fine.

Monday morning, the whole family got up early.

After finishing the cats' breakfast, Utaha's breakfast was also ready.
Once everyone finished eating and changed clothes, it was time to head out.

"I might get off work a little later today, but I should still be home before seven. Make sure to wait for me so we can eat dinner together!"

Driving the car, Ichin first dropped Yukino off at the University of Tokyo, then drove Utaha to publishing office.
Today she needed to discuss the second season anime adaptation of her novel. After finishing up in the morning, she would return to the company to have lunch together with Ichin.
After getting out of the car, Utaha walked over to the driver's side window and leaned in with a smile to kiss Ichin.
"Then Ichin, I'm heading in first. Sonoko-san will drive me back later at noon, so you don't need to come out and pick me up."
Ichin smiled and nodded.
"Mhm, then remember to tell Machida-san to come eat lunch at our place too."
"OK. I'm heading in now. I can already see Sonoko-san waiting for me in the lobby."
Through the glass doors on the first floor of the office building, Utaha had already spotted Sonoko Machida waving at her from inside. After saying goodbye to Ichin, she headed toward the building.
After dropping both girls off, Ichin turned the car around and drove toward the company, arriving right at the start of work hours.
After parking the car, Ichin ran into Kō Yagami and Rin Toyama, who had arrived at the same time.
"Morning, Kō, Rin."
"Morning, Ichin!"
The three of them entered the elevator together, and Kō smiled as she said:
"Hajime went on a blind date yesterday?"
"Hm? So she told you guys already."
"Yep. She mentioned it while we were gaming and chatting last night."
