Saturday morning, eight o'clock.
There was no alarm set today, yet Ichin still woke up fairly early as usual.
Opening his eyes, he saw Yukino still sleeping soundly in his arms, hugging him tightly.
Last night, Ichin had slept together with Yukino. Combined with the wedding photos having arrived, Yukino had been unusually proactive last night, and the result was obvious: she wanted to sleep in today.
Gently brushing his fingers across Yukino's cheek, Ichin became more and more absorbed in watching her sleeping face.
"Sometimes it really isn't self-praise. Yukino really is adorable, no matter the situation."
Then he noticed Yukino's ears slowly turning red.
Narrowing his eyes slightly, Ichin gently pinched her nose.
"Since you're awake, stop pretending to sleep already, okay? You've learned some bad habits."
With her nose pinched shut, Yukino finally opened her eyes and smacked his hand away.
"That's because you didn't wake me up yourself."
"Wasn't I letting you sleep a little longer?" Ichin smiled as he pulled Yukino back into his arms. "When did you wake up?"
"A few minutes earlier than you."
Leaning against Ichin's chest, Yukino comfortably narrowed her eyes.
"I originally planned to sleep a little more, but I didn't expect you to wake up so soon."
Ichin glanced at the time and realized it was only eight in the morning.
"Then how about we sleep a little longer?"
Yukino shook her head.
"No. Even if it's Saturday, I still need to get up and do yoga."
"Alright then, let's get up."
Ichin sat up, lifting Yukino along with him in his arms.
"But before that, come take a bath with me first."
Wrapping her arms around Ichin's neck, Yukino blushed and said:
"Do you really just want to take a bath?"
"Hehe, so are you coming?"
"Mhm... let's go."
Your mouth says one thing while your body is honest, Yukino.
After soaking in the bath together for more than half an hour, Ichin finally went downstairs feeling completely refreshed and headed to the kitchen to prepare breakfast.
As for Yukino, she went to the television in the living room and started doing yoga.
Neither Utaha nor Haruno was awake yet.
Utaha had gone to sleep pretty late last night because she had been writing, so Ichin had no intention of waking her up this early.
As for Haruno, sleeping in had long since become normal for her, so there was even less reason to bother her.
After putting the porridge on to cook, Ichin started preparing the youtiao. As for the pan-fried dumplings, he planned to make those last.
Once the dough had been kneaded and left to rest, Ichin calculated the timing, walked out of the kitchen, and went upstairs to wake Utaha and Haruno.
Utaha was easy enough. He entered her room, called out to her once, and she woke up. After demanding a good morning kiss, she obediently got out of bed.
Haruno, however, was much more troublesome.
When she slept, she slept like the dead. Ichin knocked on the door outside for quite a while without getting any response at all.
Utaha walked out of her room and looked at Ichin standing outside Haruno's door with a smile.
"Ichin, just go in directly. Haruno-san never locks her door anyway."
"Of course I know she doesn't lock it, but I definitely can't just walk in like that, can I?"
"It's fine, I'll vouch for you. I'm watching, you know!"
Scratching his head helplessly, Ichin could only turn the doorknob and open the door to Haruno's bedroom.
Inside the room, Haruno was indeed still asleep, sprawled across the bed and sleeping soundly.
Since it was already July and the weather had started getting hot, Haruno wasn't using a blanket at the moment. She only had a thin throw covering her, and one long snow-white leg had slipped out from underneath it, making for quite a dazzling sight.
Utaha followed Ichin into the room as well, and after seeing Haruno's sleeping posture, she laughed.
"Whoa! What a bold sleeping position!"
Ichin shook his head and walked over to the bedside.
"Haruno-nee, it's time to get up. Haruno-nee!"
"Mmm..."
After sluggishly squirming around for a few seconds, Haruno finally opened her eyes.
She stayed dazed for a moment before finally waking up properly and looking at Ichin and Utaha in front of her.
"What time is it?"
"It's almost nine. Time to get up, Haruno-nee."
Haruno nodded, yawned, then propped herself up with both hands and sat up.
The moment she sat up, the thin blanket slipped down.
Neither Ichin nor Utaha had expected Haruno to sleep this boldly.
She actually wasn't wearing anything?
Seeing the stunned expressions on their faces, Haruno froze as well. She hurriedly looked down, realized her situation, instantly grabbed the blanket back over herself, then lay back down again.
"Get out already! Why are you still looking?!"
Ichin and Utaha exchanged glances. Touching his nose awkwardly, Ichin said:
"We'll head out first then. Breakfast will be ready soon, Haruno-nee, remember to come downstairs to eat."
Then he left the bedroom together with Utaha and closed the door behind them.
The moment they entered the hallway, Utaha immediately hugged Ichin's arm and whispered:
"Ichin, looks like you got to take advantage again~ So, how was Haruno-san's figure?"
"..."
Ichin truly didn't know whether he should answer or not. Helplessly, he said:
"Alright already, hurry up and go wash up. I still need to go downstairs and finish preparing breakfast. We're having plain porridge, youtiao, and pan-fried dumplings this morning. Sound good?"
"No problem! I like anything Ichin makes!"
After Ichin went downstairs, Utaha immediately turned around and returned to Haruno's bedroom, opening the door and poking her head inside.
Inside the room, Haruno had already gotten dressed and was now sitting cross-legged on the bed, seemingly lost in thought.
The moment she saw Utaha enter, she immediately glared at her.
"Get in here!"
Utaha stuck out her tongue playfully and walked in before sitting on the bed as well.
"Hehe, good morning, Haruno-san."
Haruno looked at Utaha with a stiff expression.
"Don't laugh! Your man practically saw everything. What am I supposed to do now?!"
Utaha waved her hand dismissively with a smile.
"It's fine, it's fine. I don't mind. Besides, it's not like he completely saw everything, right?"
"If he really had seen everything, then it would've truly been over!"
Seeing Haruno act so flustered was pretty rare, and Utaha found it extremely amusing. Besides, just like she said, she genuinely didn't think it was a big deal.
"By the way, Haruno-san, when did you start having this hobby?"
"Uh..."
Haruno coughed awkwardly.
"I saw it online, okay? They said it's good for your health, so I thought I'd give it a try. But I didn't expect something like this to happen on literally the first night. Looks like I really can't keep doing this anymore."
Utaha nodded thoughtfully.
"Mhm~~~ I see. But you really don't need to take it to heart, Haruno-san. It's a small thing. We're all adults already, and nobody did it on purpose. Besides, Ichin was knocking outside for a long time and you never woke up, so I was the one who told him to open the door and come in. If you want to blame someone, blame me!"
"How could I possibly blame you..."
Haruno let out a deep sigh and scratched her hair.
"Alright, enough about this. I need to get up and wash up. You haven't gotten ready either, right, Utaha?"
"Yep, we should hurry. Ichin's downstairs making breakfast."
Then the two of them left the room together and went to freshen up separately.
Fifteen minutes later, the two came downstairs, just as Yukino had finished her yoga session.
"Big Sis, what happened upstairs just now? I think I heard your voice. I asked Ichin, but he wouldn't tell me."
Yukino's words immediately caused Haruno to recall what had just happened.
She froze on the spot, her face instantly turning red uncontrollably.
And Yukino immediately sensed that something was wrong, her brows knitting together.
