The corridor floor is relatively clean, which makes these bloodstained footprints appear even more eerie.

Then the two followed the footprints forward, and within fifteen minutes they saw a large pool of blood, clearly indicating that the unlucky person who left the footprints was bitten by a monster and then eaten. Yet, not to mention bones, there weren't even scraps of clothing or hair visible. There were also several chaotic and strange scratches, like blood-stained paint scrapers outlining on the ground, always alongside that trail of dragged blood.
"Could it be..." she hesitated to say.
