According to those researchers' statements, the basement is composed of four sections: first, the restroom connected to the ventilation shaft; second, the security room, where alarms will go off to alert the people upstairs if anything happens; third, a monitoring zone where they can observe the mutants; and fourth, the area where the mutants are held, which is also the largest section.
