Xuanzhen finally chose the location of the Taoist Palace by the shore of Daqing Lake.
This Daqing Lake is the lake that Yang Zhenshan brought water from an ancient array, and beside it is a small lake called Xiaoqing Lake. The two lakes are connected, with water from the northern Spiritual Spring continuously flowing into both lakes, then meandering southward to merge into the Spirit River.
After more than twenty years of natural evolution, the shore of Daqing Lake has become a picturesque Blessed Land. Although it lacks human management, its natural scenery is exceptionally beautiful.
The only downside is that there are quite a few exotic beasts in Daqing Lake, various fish, shrimp, turtles, and the most troublesome are those bizarre fish with scales like sharp blades, which are named Thorn Scale Fish by the Beast Hall.
Thorn Scale Fish are extremely useful. Their thorn-like scales are as hard as steel and sharp as can be, and with a bit of forging, they can be made into arrows.
