Lin Fei did a quick calculation and realized that he didn't have any chance of becoming the lucky one. There was no way; he understood that even if luck was on his side, there would only be one opportunity. After all, being the last would mean he would face the opponent of the first place because he ended up being last.
The tournament had started.
Lin Fei was the forty-eighth to compete; after stepping onto the stage, his opponent was a small, thin dwarf who looked at Lin Fei with disdain, which made Lin Fei quite unhappy.
Lin Fei glanced ahead, to the left, and to the right where people were competing in matches, while directly opposite him was his opponent.
"Hey, kid, where the hell are you looking? Trying to get yourself killed?"
Lin Fei turned his gaze to his opponent, a short, thin dwarf whose height only reached his chest, while his Demon Beast hadn't made an appearance.
"Where's your Demon Beast?"
