Noralia clenched the Perfect Awakening Stone tightly in her palm. The diamond-shaped stone gleamed with a soft pink light, reflecting in her eyes like two stars.
She drew in a deep breath, her gaze filled with determination as she looked toward Noan: "I can do this."
Noan gave a small nod, but deep down, there was still a trace of tension inside him.
Aldric had warned him very clearly... if the awakening failed, the stone would lose its effect. Although the [Perfect Awakening Stone] guaranteed a 100% success rate, what it awakened was... an unknown variable.
High or low bloodline, strong or weak talent... all depended on the fate of the user.
'Fate, huh...' Noan thought silently, the corner of his mouth curling into a faint smile. 'For me, that thing has always been a double-edged blade.'
As a Fate Hunter, he understood the cruelty of fate better than anyone. But right now, all he could do was trust.
Trust in Noralia, and trust in his own luck.
