A:N: Guys, I don't know what happened to me, but I'm writting like a mad man HAHAHAAHA. if you like it, please leave a review, if you don't also leave one.
One completely destroyed building and another partially ruined.
That was the total infrastructure damage left inside U.A after the attack carried out by the group that had introduced themselves as the League of Villains.
As for human casualties—
Thankfully, there were none.
Most of the students escaped with only minor injuries, bruises, exhaustion, and a few fractures at worst. Nothing life-threatening.
The ones who suffered the most damage were the teachers.
And above all—
Raiden.
Or rather, Mewtwo.
It took him two entire days to finally wake up.
According to Recovery Girl, his condition was strange but stable.
He had not been injured in the normal sense.
Instead, he had fallen into an extremely deep sleep.
"It's almost like his body is rebuilding itself while unconscious," she explained after examining him multiple times. "The recovery speed is abnormal."
Even while asleep, his body temperature fluctuated strangely, and several times faint traces of psychic energy escaped unconsciously around him.
More than once, the nurses had to move metallic objects away from his room.
Meanwhile, U.A prepared its official narrative for the public regarding the attack.
The incident was presented as a victory.
After all, the heroes had successfully repelled the villains, captured several criminals, prevented civilian casualties, and even forced the League of Villains to retreat.
However—
The questions remained.
This was not the first time U.A had been infiltrated.
And because of that, criticism toward the school intensified severely.
The media pressured the institution constantly.
How could the most prestigious hero school in Japan continue getting infiltrated?
How had villains managed to enter yet again?
That same day, once things had "calmed down" enough for the teachers to regroup, a meeting was immediately held.
And naturally—
The topic was obvious.
The attacks.
The increasing crime rates.
And the League of Villains.
The teachers sat around the meeting room in exhausted silence before Aizawa finally spoke.
"Looks like they want to cripple the future generation of heroes," muttered Eraser Head while analyzing the situation calmly. "A bold approach to take."
His tired eyes narrowed slightly.
"And now…" he continued, "I understand All Might's doubts regarding one of our students' actions."
Several teachers immediately understood who he meant.
"It was a decision that was… unexpected," said Aizawa, referring to Tomura's severed hands.
"I disagree."
This time it was Ectoplasm who spoke.
"All of us saw how dangerous that Quirk was," he continued seriously. "And now the League of Villains no longer has immediate access to it."
The room remained silent while he continued.
"That is one extremely severe problem less to worry about."
He crossed his arms.
"Yes, the act itself may sound cruel," admitted Ectoplasm. "But I would rather accept that decision than wake up tomorrow and hear about civilians turning into piles of dust because of some madman."
"I agree as well."
This time, both Thirteen and Midnight spoke.
"There is no time for excessive puritanism anymore," muttered Midnight seriously.
Thirteen nodded afterward.
"Just imagine a villain with a Quirk like mine acting freely outside," she explained quietly. "The situation is not very different."
And honestly—
Most of the teachers agreed with Mewtwo's decision.
Even if none of them felt fully comfortable admitting it openly.
Because regardless of logic or necessity—
It had still been a brutal action.
A cruel one.
And that contradiction left an uncomfortable feeling in the room.
"Also," added Nezu thoughtfully, "he managed to injure All For One quite severely."
At those words, several teachers looked toward the principal.
"Previously, you said that would buy us time," said All Might while leaning forward slightly. "Time to prepare…"
His expression darkened afterward.
"Are you sure we actually have that time?"
And his concern was not unfounded.
After all—
There was also the possibility that All For One would now accelerate whatever plans he had been preparing from the shadows.
Aside from the countermeasures the teachers had already begun taking after the attack, two days later, the moment Raiden finally woke up, he immediately felt that something was different.
His body felt heavier.
Not weak—
Just… denser somehow.
And at the same time, he could also feel the opposite sensation.
He felt stronger.
Much stronger.
When he slowly opened his eyes and sat up on the bed, the first thing he noticed was something extremely strange.
His tail was still there.
However, it looked slightly different compared to when he fully transformed into Mewtwo.
It was slimmer now, more refined, and instead of beginning from the lower part of his abdomen, it extended naturally from the base of his spine.
It looked far more organic.
Far more permanent.
"Okay… this is weird," muttered Raiden while looking at himself carefully. "First the horns… and now this. Also my hands…"
He raised them slowly in front of his face.
"They're gray now."
Indeed, the back of his hands still carried that dark gray coloration that had appeared after the battle.
And no matter how much he focused, it did not disappear.
"I've been studying you for the last two days," spoke Recovery Girl from the side of the room. "That's how long you've been asleep."
Raiden turned toward her immediately.
The old woman looked unusually serious this time.
"For the looks of it," she continued, "this happened because of that second transformation you used."
At those words, Raiden immediately thought about the smaller Mega form.
Mega Mewtwo Y.
"Once you used it," explained Recovery Girl, "your body started changing permanently. It's almost like your Quirk forced your evolution further than before."
She adjusted her glasses slightly before continuing.
"It altered your baseline structure itself."
Raiden stayed silent while listening.
"It's like your body received an extreme boost in power," she explained carefully, "but in exchange, you are slowly losing the ability to fully return to a normal human state."
Silence filled the infirmary after those words.
Raiden lowered his gaze slightly and fell deep into thought.
Indeed—
That form had been absurdly powerful.
With that transformation, he was certain he could stand close to All Might's current level of strength.
At least to the weakened All Might of today.
And that amount of power…
Was terrifying.
A tremendous power.
But apparently—
It came with a tremendous price.
"But I don't want to stay permanently in my Mewtwo form," muttered Raiden firmly.
There were certain "things" he did not have while transformed.
At least one extremely essential thing.
And there was absolutely no way he was willing to lose that.
No way.
Not "that."
He needed it.
He wanted a family in the future after all.
And he really did not want to become permanently trapped as Mewtwo without even trying to taste that first.
So no matter what—
He had to learn how to control his transformations.
"There's no way of using that power without permanently turning into my other form?" asked Raiden seriously while looking at Recovery Girl.
"Well… I don't know," admitted the old healer honestly. "Every Quirk is different, and there's no way for me to know something like that for certain."
She crossed her arms thoughtfully before continuing.
"But I can make a hypothesis."
"And the hypothesis is?" asked Raiden immediately, clearly interested now.
Recovery Girl adjusted her glasses slightly.
"Well," she began slowly, "maybe… just maybe… if you master your power enough, to the point where using that transformation no longer forces your body beyond its limits…"
She pointed toward him.
"And instead becomes something natural to you…"
"Then perhaps your body won't continue mutating permanently every time you use it."
Raiden stayed silent while listening carefully.
"But," Recovery Girl added immediately, "that is only a theory. We simply won't know until you try."
"So it's basically a bet," muttered Raiden.
"Yeah," replied Recovery Girl with surprising honesty. "A pretty dangerous one too."
Still—
She suddenly smiled afterward.
"But not everything is bad."
At those words, Raiden looked at her again.
"I noticed your mental activity increased tremendously," she explained. "And I really mean tremendously."
And only then did Raiden truly notice it.
She was right.
His thoughts felt clearer.
Sharper.
Cleaner.
It was almost like a fog inside his head had disappeared completely.
Without even thinking much about it, he pushed himself lightly out of the bed—
And floated.
Effortlessly.
No concentration.
No strain.
Nothing.
The movement happened as naturally as breathing.
At that moment, Raiden realized something else.
Even in this incomplete state—
Even without fully transforming—
He possessed nearly half the power he normally had as Mewtwo.
And that…
Was a ridiculous amount of power.
Hell, in this state alone, he probably could beat the entire Class 1-A without much trouble.
"Well…" muttered Raiden while flexing his hand slowly and feeling the psychic energy flow through his body.
"This actually feels wonderful."
At the very same time—
Or rather, around the same period when Mewtwo finally woke up—
Another person woke up as well.
Inside a dark building illuminated only by weak artificial lights, a young Tomura suddenly screamed with all his strength.
"YOU FUCKEEEEER!"
The scream echoed violently through the room.
"I'LL KILL YOU!"
Tomura's body trembled with rage while blood vessels bulged around his neck.
"How dare you leave me without my hands?!"
His breathing became erratic.
"I'LL KILL YOU!" yelled Tomura again, almost sounding insane.
Beside him, sitting calmly in a chair connected to several intravenous tubes, was his mentor.
All For One.
His entire body was covered in bandages from the damage he had received during the battle.
And yet—
Despite his condition—
He remained calm.
"Soon, Tomura," spoke the villain slowly.
His voice was still composed.
"It looks like this operation was a mistake."
He leaned slightly back into the chair.
"We underestimated the power of the new generation once it combined with All Might."
Tomura clenched his teeth violently while hearing those words.
However, All For One simply continued.
"But…"
A small smile appeared beneath the ruined remains of his mask.
"This will teach you something important."
"There is always something greater to surpass."
