Many galaxies away...
Chloe and the others were locked in battle with armies upon armies of corrupted beings.
It seemed there was life outside their galaxy. And from the looks of it, it has all been corrupted. Maybe some had escaped, but they hadn't come across any yet.
Currently, she was clearing out a planet on her own while the others did the same.
The creatures weren't anywhere near as fast as her, but their bodies were so tough she couldn't just blitz through the process. Fortunately, there weren't any corrupted beings that were too strong in the area, or it would have been a lot harder for her to clear the place.
At the very least, that's what she thought at first. And that's how it was like at first.
Things took a turn when she was halfway done clearing the planet, though.
Suddenly, she felt eyes lock onto her, then...
PEW!
A crimson beam flew her way almost at the same time she felt the gaze.
BOOOOOOOOOOM!
