"Do you think I finally match the vision you have?" I looked at Connor with a partial unsatisfied glare.
He pressed his lips together and nodded as he loaded our bags in the back of his Range Rover Sport.
"Clearly I amuse you," I glared, pulling the collar of my shirt, "Was the tie necessary? You've dressed me up like I'm Ethan. Actually you've dressed me up like I'm supposed to be on the cover of Farmer's magazine."
When Connor woke me up bright and early this morning claiming he was taking me shopping I thought it was going to be extremely different. Apparently my clothes were not suitable for farm work at all. I didn't know where 'work' got into the conversation because I thought we were just going to see the sheep, but clearly Connor had different plans in mind.
"Farm work?" I repeated, horrified. "Connor, I own zero things that can touch dirt."
