Third Person's POV
Misril's expression became increasingly gloomy as he watched Ethan's distant figure.
He knew that he could normally keep pace with someone of Ethan's speed.
As a mage specialized in the wind element, he possessed an inherent advantage when it came to movement and speed, much like lightning element mages.
Yet there was one major problem.
He had to protect Prince Erius.
He couldn't simply abandon the prince and go all out like Ethan was doing.
That realization made the frustration within him grow, especially when he considered the fact that Ethan was supposed to do the same.
Misril clenched his teeth as he continued following the others, his opinion of Ethan falling even further.
In his eyes, Ethan was completely ignoring the responsibility he had accepted by joining Prince Erius's group.
He had no idea that Ethan's current urgency had nothing to do with the expedition or the prince.
