The attack was unbelievably fast and carried a terrifying, lethal sharpness.
The moment Ethan sensed it, warning signals exploded wildly within his instincts.
He immediately realized that dodging them completely or counterattacking against them at such close distance was impossible since the leaves heading towards him were too fast.
At the same time, he didn't want to underestimate the abilities of a Sky Realm elf mage, so he decided to defend against this simple-looking but dangerous spell with his full strength.
Without hesitation, Ethan crossed both his arms defensively in front of himself while simultaneously augmenting his skin and muscles with frost to the maximum extent possible, especially his hands and forearms.
