By following the previous route, he entered the barren land. This time, he paused his footsteps. He used his eye power to scan the surroundings.
He didn't find any beasts nearby. The barren land was empty. But he knew what would happen if he went closer toward the abandoned valley.
He might come across dangerous beasts. He resumed the journey. It didn't take long for his eyes to spot something.
He saw lizard beasts on the ground. Not one, but two. Another beast was resting on the ground, not far away from the first one.
It had been a long time since he fought against lizard-type beasts. He gripped the blade's handle tightly. Next, he darted toward the beasts.

He closed the gap between himself and the beasts within a minute. The Red Lizard was over 4 meters in size. It was a Tier-5 Beast, but it was close to becoming a Tier-6 Beast.
The Lizard felt the presence of someone. It raised its head and saw a Human Beast Tamer coming toward it.
