The unknown bird beast was controlling the speed. If the human changed direction, then it would do something.

Jeremy Night used the movement method. A burst of force generated beneath his feet. He moved sideways. The unknown bird beast changed direction as well.
His heart skipped a beat. He didn't expect the bird beast to make such an abrupt turn. Now the sharp beak was closer to his body.
Just a few inches away from contacting his body. Right then, he circulated the starlight power to use "Star Fist."
He circulated the power according to the route. In a flash, his left fist was covered in the starlight power. He then punched forward to strike the beak.
Boom!
The collision happened instantly. He felt his hand come in contact with the hard object. It didn't break. Instead, he absorbed the impact force.
His body was sent flying backwards. He felt a searing pain in his left arm.
