They were able to hold out that night, despite the emotions running high. They were too close to civilization to even bring Samira out of the carriage. So they were forced to sleep early for the next day. The local village people wanted to thank them before they departed for Restol. It wouldn't be a banquet like in Duvain. Akora village needed to stockpile its resources for winter.
Which they were all very okay with.
They were on their way home; it'd only be a week and a half before they were home. They could wait that long for home-cooked meals. They were more concerned with getting on the road again and all the privacy that came with it.
It made snuggling up that night a lot harder, though. They were pressed together and expected to go to sleep. Claire could feel even Jasmine giving in a bit when they first started spooning. The assassin grinded against Claire for a moment before catching herself.
"We have all day tomorrow," Jasmine twisted to meet Claire. "Be patient until we leave."
"Aww," Claire whispered. "I don't think I can."
"You can," Jasmine yawned. Something Claire had never really seen her do. "Now go to sleep. The sooner we sleep, the sooner we can get on the road."
"Fine," Claire whispered. She snuggled up to Jasmine's back and pulled her close. It would be difficult to go to sleep like this, but she'd manage.
"That goes for you, too, Elsie," Jasmine said in a soft but stern voice.
Elsie pulled her fingers out of Ana's mouth. She thought the two were being quiet, but she was wrong. She pulled her cock out from between her sister's thighs. "Booo. Let me have this."
"No." Jasmine snuggled back into Claire. "If you start, then we all start."
"Fiiiine," Elsie rolled her eyes. She reluctantly pulled her panties back up. She wouldn't stop grinding against Ana, though.
"Goodnight," Jasmine whispered to Claire. She was asleep before the redhead could even respond.
"Ngh," Ana tried to hold her moan back. She covered her mouth, but it was too late.
Ursa picked up a pillow and chucked it at Elsie. "Enough!"
"Okay, okay!" Elsie sighed dramatically. "No fun around here."
Ana twisted around to face her sister. She rested her forehead against Elsie's. She wrapped her arms around Elsie's waist and spoke within their connected minds. 'Feel better now after the scolding?'
'A bit,' Elsie giggled aloud. She kissed her sister, then pulled her in close. 'Sleep does sound good now.'
"This is fun!" Samira whispered to Lily. It was a bit weird to snuggle up to Samira, but Lily was making it work. "I was in a weird age range. Too old for the children and too young for the adults. Never really had others my age. Or approximate age."
"Aww," Lily whispered back. "Yeah, Elsie and Jasmine are fun to listen to. Their banter is quite funny."
"I've noticed," Samira curled her tail around Hannah and Toni. "I hope to join in more."
"You won't worry," Lily rested her head on the pillow.
"What about Ursa?" Samira asked. "She's not snuggling anyone."
"Ahh, she's more independent." Lily closed her eyes. "She may join us in the middle of the night, though."
"Aww," Samira pouted. She opened her arms and beckoned for Ursa. "Come here, miss Ursa. There's plenty of room."
Ursa glanced at the lamia. It was quite a tempting offer. She glanced around before slowly crawling towards Samira. She nestled into the lamia's chest and wrapped an arm around her and Lily.
"Wow," Lily whispered. "It takes a bit of coaxing sometimes."
"Shut up," Ursa growled. It was muffled by Samira's ample breasts, though.
"Ahh, I see," Lily giggled. "A new pair to enjoy? Were mine getting old?"
Lily's whole body tensed up. She felt Ursa's strength through just her grip alone. It didn't hurt when she clamped down, but it showed just how strong she was in comparison to Lily. She barely held back a reaction to it.
"Shut," Ursa mumbled. She relaxed her grip, leaving Lily speechless.
"Oh my," Samira blinked. She felt both women's erections grow harder in that brief moment.
Beneath them, and wrapped in Samira's tail, were Hannah and Toni. The bigger knight was making sure that most of the constriction was around her, and not Toni. He still got to feel the snake tail coil around them.
"It does feel nice," Toni whispered to Hannah. Samira's tail forced his face into her modest chest. "Like I'm in a group hug."
"Yeah, a bit," Hannah shivered when she felt his breath on her chest. "Not when she's panicking, though."
"I hope those go away soon," Toni nestled into Hannah. "She's so bubbly and kind when she's stable."
"Agreed, Master," Hannah rubbed the back of his head. "Now let's get to sleep."
"Yes, ma'am," Toni took a deep breath. "Goodnight, Hannah."
"Goodnight, Toni," Hannah cooed.
Sleep slowly claimed them shortly after. The twins and Toni were the first to fall asleep, then Hannah and Samira. Lily and Ursa were still riding the high of their brief exchange, but soon fell asleep.
The next morning went by quickly. They were all up with the rising sun and ready to get back on the road. Samira would have to wait a few hours before she could stretch her tail out, but she'd manage. The rest of them cleaned up and got the carriage ready for travel.
The people of Akora were gathered around the middle of town. They delayed their morning chores to give their thanks to the Scarlet Paladin. While they barely knew the adventurers, they were grateful to them. Not only killing the trolls, but giving up ownership of the trolls' corpses.
Their way of expressing gratitude was a bit different. Jasmine and Hannah were handed a bouquet of flowers from each of the houses. They ended up passing at a dozen back into the carriage, and then their carriage was covered in petals. Kids and adults alike plucked petals from flowers and threw them all over their carriage. The carriage was covered in a mix of yellows, whites, and pinks. Even Hannah and Jasmine were covered in them.
It was a short but sweet celebration of their victory over the trolls. The mayor herself handed the last bouquet to Jasmine. It was different and didn't contain live flowers.
"My wife loves to knit," The mayor said with a sheepish smile. "The others will wither away, but this is more permanent. I wish we could give more, but-"
"Like I said before," Jasmine bowed and took the vase. It was decorated with knitted flowers and what felt like metal wiring to hold its shape. "We do not need anything besides the payment."
"But there are so many of you," The mayor glanced at the carriage. "The payment wouldn't last you a month."
"Well, it's a good thing I had a lucrative job before this," Jasmine giggled. "And a frugal sister who refuses to buy anything new."
"And you, Miss Knight," the mayor nodded at her. "Lady Efreit is what every noblewoman should strive for. I wish ours was half the woman she was."
Hannah's smile grew. "If only I got paid each time someone told me that. I'd be able to retire already."
The mayor bowed her head. "I am truly grateful for you and your party. The payment was all we could afford, and then you gave us their bodies… It will let the Janestons rebuild their farm."
"Good, that information is more than enough for us," Jasmine held out her hand. She should have had Claire out here since she could do this better. "Remember what else I told you. Spread the Scarlet Seraphs' name, and we'll keep up our end of that promise."
The mayor took Jasmine's hand and shook it. "Right, right. And that whole thing with a new Goddess. It still blows my mind…"
"We have to toe the line of spreading Her arrival and keeping her from the Royals," Jasmine squeezed the mayor's hand one last time. "Them knowing could cause a major issue."
"Got it," the mayor nodded. "Tell Elizabeth thank you, as well. She's been very helpful."
"Yes, ma'am," Jasmine let go. She waved to the women and children around her, then set the horses forward. The petals slowly fell off the carriage as they left the village of Akora.
