First of all, they figured out that the Liquid Void wouldn't be effective against the Rebornian army. So, they didn't even bring one in order to fight against the Eternal Flame swordstyle.
Instead, they went with a different strategy. They instead went for a more guerilla-tactic type of warfare.
And in truth, this was the most effective way of dealing with the Reborn company.
The strength of the Eternal Flame swordstyle laid in the fact that the stronger the cooperation and the connection between the soldiers, the stronger the flame that they were going to produce. That's why it was so lethal in the hands of the Rebornians.
However when fought individually, the Eternal Flame swordstyle lacked in strength.
And it seemed that the EoV army knew exactly about that weakness and used it to their advantage.
