Michael nodded over towards Sheina, and she immediately ducked down and took off the bandage that wrapped over one of the figure's mouths.
As soon as she did, the guy immediately breathed out a sigh of relief.
"Please… please no more," he begged. "I was just doing as I was asked! It was just a job! Please let me go. I don't want to see that slime ever again!"
Immediately, the Rebornian opposition couldn't help but gasp out loud when they'd heard those words.
It wasn't the words themselves, but it was the fact that they could even talk! They'd specifically instructed their assassins to destroy their own brains once they were caught!
