Max didn't answer.
Draven turned cautious at once, since he had clearly heard the stories. He had already registered himself on the Challenge Platform, though, so refusing was no longer an option.
The battle began.
Draven activated his pseudo cosmic path almost immediately. Dark flames burst around his body, and a massive demonic phantom rose behind him.
Max simply raised Dragonheart as the Emotion Severing Path spread through the blade.
Then he disappeared.
Draven barely had time to react before a single sword stroke crossed the arena.
The dark flames collapsed, the demonic phantom split apart, and Draven's defensive aura shattered. A heartbeat later, his battle projection vanished completely.
The whole fight had lasted only a few breaths.
[Battle concluded.]
[Winner: Max Voidwalker.]
[200 Bronze Marks transferred.]
Max returned to the eighth monolith, and several people nearby immediately looked his way.
He ignored them and picked another opponent.
