The five Divine Veins burned inside his dragon body, each one magnified by the enormous true-dragon form, and the Tier 4 Primordial Bloodline sat above everything like an ancient source pulling him closer to the laws of the world.
The first sealing formation came down from Valerius. A white-gold sun appeared above the arena, and from that sun came countless sacred chains, each one wrapped in burning light. They didn't simply fall toward Max.
They tried to define him as guilty, brand his bloodline as sinful, and force his dragon body under the judgment of the Four Sacred Clans.
Max roared. Black dragon flames burst from his mouth and collided with the golden chains.
