Crunch
"Hm…"
Lyrium let out a quiet sound as he took another bite, his teeth sinking slowly into the snack.
He didn't rush it.
He chewed carefully, almost thoughtfully, as if trying to understand the taste rather than just eat it.
"…This tastes so good…"
He spoke under his breath, more to himself than anyone else.
For a moment, he just sat there.
The park stretched quietly around him, trees swaying gently, leaves rustling with the soft wind, distant voices blending into a calm, peaceful background.
It was such a normal place.
So simple.
So ordinary.
And yet, to him… it felt strangely new.
Lyrium leaned back slightly against the chair, still holding the half-eaten snack in his hand.
His eyes drifted forward, unfocused, as he took another bite, slower this time.
"I don't know if it's just because I haven't eaten in days…"
He paused, chewing, letting the flavor settle.
"…or if this is actually just really good."
