Shin actually realized that his magic should have been able to kill this God of Death directly, but there were some unexpected complications.
He truly hadn't expected this world to have so many gods, although it was highly probable.
Because the god in front of him was simply too weak—nowhere near his level—yet the power he sensed earlier...
That was a power his current self couldn't possibly defeat; it was on a completely different dimensional plane.
Still, Shin remained confident. After all, they couldn't exactly do anything to him either. With that thought, he dismissed his Black Magic.
He then quietly observed the beautiful figure standing behind the God of Death. With just one glance, Shin found himself captivated by her.
She was such a perfect girl—incredibly cute, yet exuding a very icy aura, which Shin didn't particularly like.
Even so, her long elf-like ears and that exceptionally powerful sword made her stunningly beautiful.
A moment later, a heavenly voice slowly echoed out.
"I truly never imagined that a powerhouse like you existed in another world."
"However, things end here today. Because you touched the laws of this world, the God of Death came to stop you."
"But since you possess such strength, we can no longer interfere, even if you did touch the laws."
Shin understood what she meant: 'Stop now, let the God of Death go, and we won't interfere with you saving your friend.'
But Shin, having finally regained his full strength, hadn't had enough fun yet. Asking him to stop now would be a real shame.
He immediately retorted, "Do you think you can scare me? Don't think just because you're a woman, I can't beat you."
"I know your power, but even so, I can still defeat you within three moves."
The girl just smiled and said, "You really love to talk big. Even if you have the ability to copy your opponent's powers..."
"...do you really think that alone is enough to defeat me?"
"You have absolutely no idea how powerful I truly am."
Shin's temper flared. Being looked down upon by a little girl? He immediately shot back.
"Little girl, all talk is useless. I know you're strong."
"But I am an existence beyond your imagination. I'm not bragging, but in this world, no one is my match."
"And seeing as you aren't the strongest in this world, I can definitely defeat you."
Louise was dumbfounded. Did he not hear her telling him to leave? She was really strong...
If she attacked, this man would die. But he was truly interesting. She had intended to keep an eye on him for the future; wouldn't it be a pity if he died just like this?
"I am Louise, the Goddess of War, ranked seventh on the God King Leaderboard."
"My father is the supreme and Highest God King."
Naturally, Shin didn't understand what she was trying to do.
But he did catch one thing.
This person in front of him was actually the daughter of the strongest person in this world. She must be incredibly powerful.
This played right into his hands. He immediately said.
"I know your name now. You should remember mine too. The name of the man who will defeat you is Shin."
The God of Death was completely bewildered. This Louise in front of him was the goddess of his dreams, but he and she were on entirely different levels.
Why had she come personally to save him? Others might not know how powerful this goddess was, assuming her status was only due to her father...
...which allowed her to rank on the God King Leaderboard. But he had been keeping a close eye on her and knew exactly how terrifyingly strong she was.
He immediately turned to Shin and said, "I have to say, you're really out of luck. Although I have nothing left to say now..."
"...you must know that this Lady is not someone I can compare to. Even though you're a bit stronger than me, facing her..."
"...you will be instantly killed. So, you better think carefully if you really have the strength to act so arrogant here."
He was about to say more but was stopped by Louise, who said, "You go back first. Do not interfere in my business with him, and do not tell anyone. Understood?"
She then assessed Shin and proudly declared, "Since you won't listen to me, even if I kill you, my father won't say anything."
She then erupted with a power approximately a thousand times greater than Shin's current strength.
She then slowly announced, "Sword of Victory, God King Sword."
"This is the royal sword my father gifted me. Against this kind of power, it is impossible for you to be my match."
"So just surrender."
Shin laughed. What is all this? I haven't even said a word, and she's already finished all the talking.
"I see."
"Bankai: Stage Five."
"Wind, Rain, Lightning, come forth."
Immediately, four swords slowly materialized and orbited around Shin.
Louise was already extremely shocked. What kind of swords were these? The power they possessed surpassed even some high-tier divine artifacts.
But this man actually had four of them! What kind of monster was he?
Looking at these swords, they all possessed the power of laws. That meant this man had long ago surpassed the power of gods.
"Four swords rise, Bankai: Stage Five."
"Heavenly Law Sword, fuse."
As Shin's voice faded, a transparent white sword appeared in the space.
That kind of power was simply not something an ordinary person could contend with. The God of Death was nearly scared to death. He truly hadn't known the man in front of him was this terrifying.
He immediately began to rejoice that he hadn't fought this man, or else he wouldn't even have a corpse left.
"This is the power of the Natural Law. How can you command it? It seems I really underestimated you. However, just this alone won't affect me at all."
"Even with that sword, you are no match for me. I advise you to give up."
"Also, since you're this powerful, why not join us?"
