Just as they passed through another border town in the Beastkin Nation, a familiar voice rang out from the carriage.
"Brother-in-laawww!"
Javier and Buddy paused, followed by the Beastkin Royal Special Forces on their mounts and the Armand personnel. Faelar also slowed, glancing back as Lyzia's head popped out of the carriage window, her cheeks puffed in a pout.
"Ihhhh! What is it now, Lyzia? Ugh!" Javier groaned, rubbing his temples. "You're not supposed to be sticking your head out like that! You're a princess of the Elven Nation! You're not supposed to be leaning out of the carriage like that."
Lyzia puffed her cheeks further, glaring at Javier with a sulky expression before mumbling, "C… Celine said she's hungry."
Celine, who was sitting beside her, snapped her head toward Lyzia, her eyes wide with surprise. She fidgeted nervously, her cheeks flushing.
"Eh!? I...I didn't."
Javier let out a long, weary exhale, pinching the bridge of his nose.
