Gracelle smiled faintly while glancing at Liana.
"I don't know why… but I feel comfortable with you around, talking to you and just being near you. It feels like we've met somewhere before."
Liana exhaled, crossing her arms and looking at Gracelle. "Is that the question you wanted to ask? Hmm?"
"Um… no… but… what I said was…" Gracelle paused, her expression sincere. "I really feel like it, like we've met somewhere, maybe long ago."
Liana shook her head. "Let me ask you a question, Gracelle."
"Hmm? Yes?" Gracelle looked at Liana.
"You do know how elves are, right? Elves are often secretive, long-lived, and aloof, choosing to seclude themselves in their own lands, rarely mingling with other races or venturing far from their forests."
"Yeah…" Gracelle nodded softly, putting a finger on her pursed lips and glancing to the side. "I guess so."
Liana leaned back in her chair and crossed her arms while looking at Gracelle.
