Jinling City's urban village.
A rental village known as a gathering place for society's parasites.
Littered with countless freeloaders waiting to die.
Most of these people have fled from elsewhere.
When they've lost everything but their lives.
Life has become a numb, zombie-like existence!
It's not that they don't work.
It's just that when they're starving, they go find a day job.
Then they take their day's wages and live here for three days.
Eating a bowl of three-yuan clear soup noodles, smoking a pack of two-yuan-eight cigarettes, drinking two-yuan bottles of mineral water, and using the net cafes for one yuan an hour.
That's their life structure.
The morning sun lazily drapes over those who use the sky as a blanket and the ground as a bed.
Some remain asleep in the open air, while some have already woken up.
The awakened ones sit staring blankly, as if contemplating life, but more likely lost.
"Collecting ID cards here! One hundred yuan each, one hundred yuan each!"
