At the sound of footsteps, Du Tianyu stopped crying and Du Zhengxu stopped shouting. Father and daughter turned in unison to look outside the hospital room, their faces revealing a sliver of hope shining through the depths of despair. However, this glimmer of hope lasted less than five seconds before it vanished like smoke, replaced by an even darker, more profound despair.
A dozen young men ran into the room. The one in the lead approached Qin Fan and asked, his voice trembling with apprehension, "Are you Mr. Qin?"
