The main reason is that Zhou Wang indeed has some 'ghosts' in his heart.
He knows Jiang Qingkui is too smart, so in order to smoothly complete the fourth round of actions and to lay more groundwork for a happy future, Zhou Wang adhered to the principle of performing a complete act, leaving Magic City without a word. He even intentionally chose Qin Island, a place with little interaction with them, just to complete his task in peace...
Distance creates beauty.
Especially with a clever-minded woman like Jiang Qingkui, spending time with her every day, she would always find something amiss, which is not conducive to Zhou Wang's reverse tugging at her emotions.
From Jiang Qingkui's action of abandoning her work and chasing to Beidou on New Year's Eve, it shows Zhou Wang's strategy was quite effective.
She was indeed a bit mentally disturbed.
It's just... her IQ was clearly still online, she knew how to find Zhou Wang, even specifically went to wait for him at Beidou No.1 Courtyard.
