Magic City Recovery Park was founded in 1909, formerly known as the "Gu Family Residence Park" in the French Concession. It's also the only park currently maintaining a French classical garden layout.
However, its fame is more about its location, which is Magic City's undeniable "Diamond Level" core area. North is the fashion landmark "Huaihai Middle Road", east is the historic charm "Sinan Road", south is the arts gathering "Nanchang Road", and west is the classic district "South Shancheng Road".
This is Magic City's most traditional downtown, and also its heart.
It's roughly eight or nine o'clock now, and the sky has completely darkened, which is the time when the park is most crowded.
Citizens and tourists fill every corner of the park, enjoying the tranquility amidst the bustling city.
