When Ye Fan finally awoke, he had no idea how long he had slept. Upon rising, he discovered that the colorful demon fox he had healed was gone.

Ye Fan went outside the cave to search but found no trace of it. He knew the Little Demon Fox had truly left, but he felt no strong attachment. After all, they were merely passersby in each other's lives.
With that, he immediately got up and departed. His journey in the Outer Domain was only just beginning.
Meanwhile, the group of Hunters Ye Fan had tricked arrived outside the temple at dawn. The temple was completely silent.
One of them immediately asked, "Could that kid have tricked us?"
"I doubt it. Traces of his aura are definitely still here!" another Hunter stated.
"Then let's go in and check!"
"Okay!"
The group of them rushed inside.

A black mist appeared, and screams echoed from within. Then, the temple returned to its original state, as if nothing had ever happened.
