Chapter 1675 - Chapter 751: Compromise and Non-Compromise

Mr. Marcus was a middle-aged immigrant man in his fifties, considered as part of the first and a half generation of immigrants.

His parents came over very early, and when he was about four or five years old, they brought him over from his hometown and settled down in Likalai State.

He arrived in the Federation at the end of the Federation's slave emancipation movement, society had just regained stability, and people of color stood on the streets with vacant eyes looking at the sky.

They had gained freedom, but lost their jobs, food, and places to sleep.

They were not sure if this was the freedom they wanted.

This also led to a continuous deterioration in public security, and many things turned for the worse. Mr. Marcus spent his childhood hanging around the streets.

Because of his race and slightly darker skin, he was not welcomed by the locals.
