Since Ye Yanting and Gu Wanqin came back, Ye Qiu didn't stay at home for dinner and returned early to his downtown apartment.
Tan Nana happened to be taking out the trash and curiously asked, "Didn't you finally have some free time to go home for the weekend? Why didn't you eat there and instead bought groceries to bring back?"
Ye Qiu shrugged, "Yanting and his wife returned, so I came back."
Tan Nana laughed at him, "It's clearly their fault, yet you avoid them. You really are useless."
Ye Qiu didn't mind her somewhat blunt tone and asked good-naturedly, "I'm cooking fish later, do you want to join me for a meal?"
Tan Nana was tempted and replied without hesitation, "Sure."
It wasn't her first time eating at Ye Qiu's place. Ever since one day she had a drink with friends and ended up at the wrong door, she discovered Ye Qiu's amazing cooking skills. She deeply felt that Ye Qiu was wasting his talent by running a company; opening a restaurant would be more fitting!
