Hearing the voice, everyone looked toward the man, only to see him cheerfully squeeze forward, pointing at the shop assistant and ordering several boxes of each type of pastry.
"Aren't you afraid they'll poison you? This shop uses nothing but bad ingredients," the Old Lady said with a sneer.
"Old Lady, at your age, I suggest doing some good deeds for your grandchildren's sake if not for your own. Whether these pastries are good or not isn't for you to decide. Can't we taste for ourselves? Anyone who believes you is truly laughable," the man retorted, equally unyielding.
Seeing him set the precedent, everyone gradually lined up again, just as the man said. Can't they taste for themselves whether the food is good or not? How could the tantrums of an Old Lady be believed?
