"Well, I killed him, but he isn't really dead. His Primordial soul managed to escape, but he won't be a bother for a while," Sect Master Zhai said, throwing Lord Weyori's head toward Ruby.
"I am disappointed in you, Zhai. You should have succeeded in killing him at least," Ruby said with a smirk, knowing she wouldn't have let the bastard slip away.
"Well, he is rather good at soul arts, so don't blame me. But at least he can't forge a new Primordial body for who knows how long. So even if you plan to attack the Weyori Great Family, he can't do anything to anyone unless, of course, he wants to risk dying for real this time."
Everyone seemed to understand what he meant, so they didn't seem disappointed with his performance. Well, Ruby, who knew what Sect Master Zhai was capable of during the Flame Era, smirked.
She knew that if Sect Master Zhai wanted to, the old bastard would have died.
