The first time Kent learned of Nyx was after Uncle Drew returned from the underworld.
Before Uncle Drew left, Kent expected him to face opposition down in the underworld. After all, he wasn't fully dead back then since Kent had made him a Night Rider, and from what he knew, living people are not welcome in the underworld.
However, he was stunned when Uncle Drew returned to the land of the living and revealed that he had been helped by an Underworld Queen named Nyx. Naturally, Kent was taken aback.
Kent knew Nyx had helped Uncle Drew because of him. But as far as he could remember back then, he had never met anyone called Nyx. He even speculated that this Nyx person might have known one of his past incarnations.
