Outstretching his arms... Chase began to laugh like a madman, the terrible energy beginning to consume him alive...

Chase outstretched his arms further, looking at the sky as he let his back fall to the ground... Vanishing into a gateway... As...
"NOW I'M HOOKED!" Vex roared back, flicking his blade and meeting Chase's front assault with savage joy in his movements...
Several gateways scattered around Vex... Slowly consuming the very fire of Jack with their own impressive might...
Chase appeared from one, blending with the barrage of chains.

Vex parried the chains one by one in swift unpredictable movements, leading him straight towards Chase who was descending with Apocalypse in tune him.
For a brief second... The two meeting was inevitable... A force that shook the throne of the heavens itself... And Vex foreseen two crimson horns flash above Chase's sinister grin... But the image was gone before it could truly appear... And Their blades met.
CLANNNNNNNGGGGGG!
BOOM!
A second shockwave shot from the clash, their blades pressing against each other with such force that sparks of natural fire had begun to fly about the already raging storm.
Vex's unique eyes flashed with joy, chains of his own ripping from his armor and hurling themselves at Chase.
Only for him to vanish into another portal and leap out from behind Vex.
He turned; however, suspecting the attack and preparing to parry it...
Before another portal appeared between them, leaving Chase to slash from behind at Vex... Who turned instantly and slashed at Chase, his blade only inches away from removing the head of the heir...
Luna appeared behind Vex... Runes drawn in blood along her own fingertips.
She shoved Vex from behind, vanishing into one of Chase's portals... Leaving Chase to use the confusion to enter another portal, appearing beside and slashing at Vex's legs, bluntly knocking his knee to the ground.
Hans appeared, hurling a fist into Vex seconds before the runes exploded, redirecting his course into the ground.
Laughter filled the air as he stood just in time to sidestep Poppy's strike, slashing at the back of her leg and kicking her down.
Chase descended, several chains following suite as the portals continued to constantly grow where the battle moved.
He attacked, and the two met in a cacophony of violence... Two grinning savages delivering powerful blows that changed the very weather above them...
Flames swirled in protest to their battle, contending with even Jack's affinity...
Chase spun, delivering a downward assault with the help of his chains... His blade slamming into the ground where Vex stood, but the chains shoot forth changing direction leaving Vex the only option of being pushed back in order to deflect the attacks...
In which he did... Curious to see if Chase's plan could actually work...
Chase grinned, blood dripping from his lips as breaths raggedly left his gruesome body...
The barrage stopped, and Vex parried a powerful slash from Apocalypse that came near instantly.
"But you still don't get it..." Vex sighed, ducking underneath another attack and knocking Chase back a meter...
Chase collected himself, vanishing from sight in a near instant... And for a second...
Vex felt it...
And a grin appeared on his face as Natalia's affinity tapped in just in time to block Apocalypse in a storm of sparks...
"Not quite." Vex grinned, slashing open Chase's chest and allowing the indigo energy to send a shockwave through Chase's body, sending him flying into the crater's wall.
Vex sighed, glaring at his chipped and mangled chains...
SLAM!
Apocalypse drove into Vex's chestplate, launching him back as the sight of a portal only now came into view...
"COME ON!" Chase screamed, launching forward with a sonic boom, somehow using the momentum from his portals to stockpile speed... While also using that hellish fire to amplify the speed and change direction...
"TRULY REMARKABLE!" Vex screamed, his body soaring through the air as Hans shot a barrage of Earth attacks at the Vex of Seh Jenah's stunned figure.
"COME ON DAMNIT!" Chase followed up, appearing from a portal above and slamming straight down on Vex... Sending a thunderous explosion through the crater's lower levels...
Vex had blocked... Clashing with Chase and sending an arc of energy from behind that tore straight through Chase's flesh.
Vex grinned, before frowning in realization.
Poppy appeared, attacking from the side only for Vex to parry.
'Wait. No.' Vex scowled, feeling the force of Apocalypse slam into his ribs... Launching him in another direction.
"JUST A LITTLE MORE! WE! WE CAN KILL A PALADIN!" Chase roared, leading the charge as he shot from several of his own gateways, quickly darting straight at Vex.
Hans meanwhile stomped his foot into the ground, changing the entire terrain... Making it impossible for Vex to land somewhere safe...
Poppy dashed into a portal, spinning as she hurled her spear at Vex... Who swayed his head easily, slamming his fist back into the air and stopping his momentum with another spell of gravity.
His sword instantly snapped, meeting Chase's clash as the Earth itself began to devour the both of them.
"Do you know what's gonna happen when those markings fade away?" Vex whispered, surging a blast of energy into Chase and quickly parrying the barrage of flames... While at the same time, his eyes began to glow... And the ground around him shifted along with the gravity... Reversing into the air... Leaving the Vex of Seh Jenah open for attack as he hovered in the air.
Chase leaped from a portal, slashing at Vex before dashing into another portal.
Poppy threw her arms around Vex's throat from behind, trying to kick away his sword as she hung for dear life.
In a sprint, Hans began to manipulate the Earth again, lifting forth pillars for him to ascend up to Vex from the now cavernous crater floor.

Vex again fended off both Poppy and Chase's attacks before Luna followed up, placing a set of runes upon his arm...
BOOM!
The runes exploded, blocking the vision as Chase appeared from the storm of flames... The horns appearing once more upon his head... And his axe...
'That Axe intrigues me...' Vex smiled, snapping his own arms and blocking Chase's vicious assault with a powerful blast of his own... Destroying the entire crater wall that stood behind Chase...
Grimacing... Chase realized something...
Thud!
Vex lazily kicked Chase into the ground, just as Hans followed up with a fatal strike to the head... That of course met Vex's brace once more... Easily defeating Hans and slamming him into the ground.
Poppy didn't even bother, trying to catch her breath as she leaned against the remains of a gilded wall.
Chase came to sliding stop, using Apocalypse to slow his speed.
The markings were beginning to fade... Leaving his body in a terribly weakened state...
It was over...

"OH REALLY?!" Vex screamed, unable to avoid the terrible blast of flames that devoured everything inside of the crater...
