Michelle continued in her training as Lucas set up the last machine.
And the balls of spirit energy from the second machine flew at her so fast she could barely react.
Even though she could dodge direct hits, each ball at least grazed her from the back or front, not only burning, but even making her bleed.
She had to speed up.
Also, with her front burned and bleeding, the strikes from the first machine were landing right on the open wound, making her hiss in pain.
Michelle didn't want to imagine how terrible it would all be for her if she didn't have the Everfrost Mantle on.
And luckily, Alexander had reinforced it for her so it wouldn't break under the strikes.
Lucas, even from the distance, could see just how often the strikes landed on or grazed Michelle, so he knew she wasn't taking it well.
But, still unaware of her ice element, he didn't know just how much it stung her.
