In the morning when Willy woke up, as usual, Tim had already ordered breakfast for him. Tim always took care of him.
Tim smiled from the table. "Good morning, everything is ready. We can go after breakfast."
Willy stretched, a soft smile touching his lips. "Good morning, thank you, and I'll be ready soon." He immediately went into the bathroom.
The moment the bathroom door shut, Tim pulled out his phone, remembering he hadn't written a message to his grandmother. They were going to visit her tomorrow, and he needed to set some boundaries.
Tim:My Queen, tomorrow my important guest and I will visit you. He knows nothing about my past and you shouldn't tell him anything about it. When the time comes, I'll tell him everything myself.
He soon received an answer.
Queen:You made us very happy. We'll be waiting for you tomorrow. Don't worry, we won't tell him anything about this.
Tim let out a relieved breath just as Willy returned from the bathroom. The moment Willy sat down next to him, Tim suddenly hugged him tightly.
Willy blinked, caught off guard. "What's going on?"
Tim wrapped his arms around his neck and kissed him deeply. "I missed you."
Willy let out an amused huff. "You slept cuddled up to me all night."
"So what?" Tim countered, his dark eyes melting with devotion. "I still miss you. I would miss you even for a second if you weren't by my side."
Willy stared at him, his heart doing a flip. "When I first met you, I never would have thought you would act like this."
Tim's lips pulled into a soft smirk. "This side of me is only for you, no one else has seen it. I know why you think that, because many people are afraid of me."
Willy studied his face. "I'm curious about the other side of you too."
Tim's eyes darkened slightly. "I think it will happen soon."
After breakfast, they packed their luggage and went downstairs. They said goodbye to the hotel staff. Tim opened the car door for Willy and helped him pack his luggage.
As they started driving, Tim checked the road. "We'll be there in two hours."
Willy leaned back in his seat. "Are we going to your grandparents' tomorrow?"
"Yes, I already informed them," Tim nodded. "It's a few minutes' walk from my house."
Willy realized this was a good opportunity to learn more about Tim. "Will you tell them about us?"
Tim's grip on the steering wheel softened. "They always supported me in everything. I'm sure they'll be happy to hear about us, but I won't tell them if you don't want to. I don't want you to feel embarrassed."
Willy looked at his ring, trusting the boy completely. "You can tell them. Of course I'll be nervous before meeting them because they're your family."
Tim smoothly reached over, kissing Willy's hand. "As long as you're by my side, everything will be fine. Meeting my parents will be scary, but if we ever have to see them, I promise I will do everything I can to protect you."
Why do they have such a bad relationship? Willy thought. "I was a little scared."
"Don't be afraid," Tim said, his voice turning fierce. "Even though they won't like us being together and will do anything to separate us, they will still do whatever I want because they owe me a lot."
Willy wanted to talk about Tim's parents, but he knew Tim wasn't ready for it. Whenever he asked about them, Tim always told him it wasn't the time to talk about it. One day, when you're ready, I'm sure you'll tell me everything, Willy thought.
Trying to change the subject, Willy asked, "Why don't you stay with your grandparents? You said they live close to you."
Tim let out a sharp sigh, a cold shadow flickering across his face. "They don't know I bought a house. When we moved here, they offered to let me stay with them, but my father was against it. Soon after, they sent me to a private school. It was more like a prison because I had to be there twenty-four hours a day. Don't worry, I got out of there soon. And then I bought this house. I wanted to be close to my grandparents. I used to watch them from afar, walking on the beach in the morning. That's why I bought this house."
Willy sat in silence, his heart aching as he finally understood why Tim seemed like such a cold person before. "I can imagine how difficult this all was for you."
Tim reached over, lightly patting the top of his head. "My husband is worried about me. I didn't want to live with my parents. I'm glad I'm away from them. My only regret is that I can't spend more time with my grandparents. They've been through more than I have, which is probably why we understand each other so well."
Willy smiled softly. "Your grandparents are very important to you, and now I understand why we go to them."
"You're right," Tim whispered, his gaze softening. "I don't know when I'll have this chance again. I want to introduce my other half to the people who are important to me."
The car stopped at the beach. Despite it being autumn, the weather was sunny and beautiful.
Tim turned to face him. "Shall we take a walk on the beach?"
Willy stretched his legs, exhaling a long breath. "It would be good, I'm tired of sitting."
The beach was entirely empty, no one else was there, just Tim and Willy walking along the sand. The relaxing sound of the waves felt incredibly peaceful.
After a while, Willy looked around. "Shall we go back to the car?"
Tim smirked, pointing toward a beautiful house on the cliff. "Are you tired? We have already arrived. Do you see that house? It's my house, and where we are now is my private beach."
Willy stopped in his tracks, staring at the property. "Are you rich, Tim?"
Tim burst into a loud, delighted laugh. "Oh, are you interested in your husband's property and money? I will tell my assistant and he will send you the property list and account details."
Willy's mind stalled. An assistant? But he said he worked at the hotel a few months ago. He was very confused. "Forget it. You're just spending too much money, that's why I asked."
"Don't worry, my dear," Tim laughed, wrapping his arm around Willy's waist as they walked. "I have plenty of money. Since you are already my husband, half of everything already belongs to you."
Willy shook his head. "But how do you have so much money?"
Tim raised an eyebrow. "You also have a house, a car, and you spend a lot of money on your friends. Why are you surprised that I have a lot of money too?"
Willy sighed. "I have my father's money. My parents gave me and all my siblings ten million each, and we all had to work for their company after graduating from university."
Tim's expression went flat. "It's boring. So you don't have freedom and you have to do what your parents tell you. Don't you have your own dreams? Give him back that money and do what you want. From now on, I'm by your side and I'll support you."
Dream? Do what I want? Is that possible? Willy thought, his mind completely lost in thought.
Tim put his hand on the back of Willy's neck, forcing him to look into his eyes. "Look at me. I don't know how you grew up or what your parents told you, but from now on you can be free. I will support all your decisions. Your freedom is more important than anything else. If one day you don't want to be with me anymore, I will still be by your side and support you."
The weight of the words hit Willy straight in the chest. Without a word, he lunged forward, hugging Tim tightly. His words touched his heart completely. It felt like he had been waiting to hear those words for a long time.
"Thank you... thank you for appearing in my life," Willy whispered, his eyes filling with tears. "I am very grateful to you. I love you."
Tim wrapped his arms tightly around him. "I love you too. I am grateful that you changed my life."
Tim pulled back slightly, wiping a tear from Willy's cheek. "Tell me your wishes and I will help you fulfill them."
Willy let out a breathless laugh. "If I ask you for a star, how are you going to get it for me?"
"I can buy it for you right now and name it after you," Tim said with complete seriousness.
Willy frantically grabbed his wrist, laughing. "I was joking, don't buy it! I just want you to be with me."
Tim smiled softly, his eyes full of love. "That's easy, because I will be with you forever because I am yours."
How can I not want to be with you forever when I'm only happy with you? Tim thought.
Forever with you? It would be the best thing ever, because Tim had given him back his freedom. For the first time, Willy had met someone who truly understood him. He had completely forgotten what it meant to be free and have a dream. Now he could make his own decisions and live the life he always wanted.
Willy was so happy that he didn't even remember being tired. "Let's stay here for a while."
"We can stay as long as you want," Tim smiled.
They sat on the beach and looked at the beautiful sea.
Willy murmured, "I want to see the sunset."
"Okay, but first let's go home and rest, and we can be back before sunset," Tim said, pulling him up.
Willy smirked. "Sometimes you act like you're older than me."
"Because sometimes you act like a child," Tim teased, flicking his ear. "You forget to take care of yourself."
Willy smiled warmly. "There's no need, because you take care of me. I have the best husband."
Tim beamed with pride. "I can't help but agree with you."
Willy nudged his shoulder. "Do you like it when I call you the best husband?"
"No question needed," Tim smiled happily.
Willy extended his hand. "Okay, my dear husband, let's go home."
Tim kissed him deeply. "As you command, my love."
Willy shot him a mock-annoyed look.
"Okay, honey. I won't make you angry. Let's go," Tim laughed, wrapping his arm around his shoulders as they walked toward the house.
