Kael leaned forward on his Golden Crystal Throne.
His ears twitched silently under the dim light of the ceiling gems. His hand gripped the end of the armrest and the other was placed elegantly on his lap.
It looked like he leaned forward to pay more attention to what Undying was going to say but those who knew understood that that was never the case. Katari knew that Kael could hear Undying just fine even if he was a thousand kilometers away and the latter was whispering.
Kael leaned forward so that he could act when needed.
Undying knew this, he didn't narrow his eyes or press his lips together. He just waited, observing the micro changes in the atmosphere and waiting for that little tension to cool down.
The All-King was all too eager to hear about Seth, that was certain. It was a weakness the All-King was willing to allow others to know about because he really couldn't care less.
So what if others knew he was desperate to learn more about Seth and what exactly he had done?
