"No!" another Immortal said. "Given Zhang Tian Daoist's current state, he's most likely already dead. If we take him away and others think it was us who killed Zhang Tian Daoist, that would be bad! Leave Zhang Tian Daoist's corpse here for now… You can actually still die after becoming an Immortal?"
The few Immortals all looked incredulous. In their eyes, becoming an Immortal meant eternal life. Now that they'd learned even Immortals could die, it was another heavy blow to their worldview.
