These Demon Gods before her counted as powers from the age of the Demon God War.

After Morax swept every Demon God from the region of Liyue, he established stable city-states.
Later, he passed the technique on to the adepti.

Ye Xi thought it over. These Demon Gods had already become part of his strength; handing out a little something to buy their loyalty seemed reasonable enough.
So he summoned the Abyssal Core.
A black, irregular cube appeared behind him.
The instant it emerged, every Demon God there felt the terror rolling off it.
"Th-this is… the power of the Abyss!"
"He dares to wield that power! No wonder we were never his match!"
"That makes no sense! Nothing draws The Heavenly Principles' hatred like Abyssal power — why hasn't a nail of judgment come down on him?"
"Have you lost your wits? Didn't you see that he can use the nails himself?"
"Could it be that The Heavenly Principles can do nothing to him? Or… could he be The Heavenly Principles?"
"No… he is certainly not The Heavenly Principles. But he may well become the new one!"
"Hsss…"
The Demon Gods muttered among themselves.
By then, Ye Xi had already used the Abyssal Core to fashion a Serenitea Pot.
Then, with his Copy and Paste ability, he turned out five or six more in one go.
"Take these and divide them among yourselves."

The Demon Gods holding their Serenitea Pots exchanged glances.

With a blessed Realm of their own, they could settle their peoples inside the Serenitea Pot and let them live there.
And they themselves would stand guard outside, just as Apep, the Dendro Dragonlord, did.
One world for each of them, with no cause for conflict.
Once the Demon Gods had their Serenitea Pots, they ordered their peoples to break off the attack.
On the surface, the mist thinned and scattered, and the sea beasts in the water sank back into the depths.
After a battle like that, the men of the Shogunate Navy slumped to the deck, drained to the bone.
When they saw Ye Xi and Raiden Ei return together, the soldiers went rigid with nerves.
Then Raiden Ei spoke. "The war is over."
At those words, the soldiers burst into cheers.
"The Way is boundless, Narukami eternal!"
"Long live the Lord Shogun!"
"We owe this victory to Master Ye Xi's ship! Master Ye Xi is the real hero!"
