She wasn't gullible. Not anymore. After everything that had happened today, she finally understood that he wasn't the innocent, harmless guy he pretended to be. Beneath that calm exterior was raw hunger, and right now, it was all directed at her.
He wanted her. Badly. That much was undeniably clear.
"Yes… I know…" she admitted. "But… don't say something too overwhelming. We can't do those things," she managed to say.
Just as she finished speaking, Julian pushed a small but concentrated amount of his mana like a rocket. It shot straight for the wall with blinding intensity and upon contact, a small hole formed at the center of the barrier.
Olivia's eyes widened in pure surprise. A rush of power flooded through her, making her body tremble violently.
"Yes… I am close," she whispered, hoping he would help her again and push her through completely.
