Olivia's breath caught slightly. That was not the sentence that she thought she would have heard after all that had happened.
And the implication behind his words were clear.
Another session meant repeating what had just happened. More intimacy. More of his hands on her body. More of those overwhelming sensations she had barely survived the first time.
She pulled her hands back from his face slowly, though she remained sitting close to him on the bed. Her fingers fidgeted with the fabric of her gown as she tried to regain some composure.
The shame from earlier was still burning inside her, but so was the relief that he was safe and even stronger now.
"I'm… glad," she whispered, lowering her gaze for a moment. "I was so scared. I thought something had gone wrong."
She looked back up at him.
