Chapter 733: The Path of Thunder, Identity Revealed

Fierce waves of spiritual energy erupted from the Blood Shark Pavilion's master and Zhong Cang, surging outward with overwhelming force. The currents tore open the lightning lake below, carving a massive vortex into its surface.

Even with the ancient hall's suppressive power restraining them, these two—rulers of top factions and Earth Sovereigns in their own right—displayed terrifying might.

The Blood Shark Pavilion's master stood tall, gripping a blood‑red halberd. Its barbed, shark‑tooth‑shaped blade shimmered coldly, the sharp edges exuding murderous intent. Anyone could tell—it was no ordinary weapon, but a treasured artifact, a lower‑grade sacred weapon at least.

Beside him, Zhong Cang stood flawlessly composed, his hands folded behind his back. A tangible aura of danger surrounded him as his eyes gleamed coldly at Mo Yu.

Mo Yu met their killing intent with a faint smile. "Do you two truly think you've already won?"

"Outsiders aren't welcome in the Bloodrock Realm," the Blood Shark lord said icily, tightening his grip on the halberd.

Boom!

A fierce gleam flashed in his eyes. With a single shake of his weapon, a shrill cry like a raging shark's roar split the sky, reverberating with bloodlust.

Swish!

He moved in the same instant, his body blurring into motion so fast the lake below split apart beneath him. Swift as a ghost, he lunged straight toward Mo Yu. His long halberd twisted in his hands like a venomous serpent, releasing dozens of shadowy strikes that cascaded down like a storm of death—each aimed precisely at Mo Yu's vitals.

As a ruler of his realm, his killing blows were ruthless and decisive, flooding the air with spiritual destruction that churned the lightning lake into chaos.

For a heartbeat, countless weapon shadows filled Mo Yu's eyes. Then his hand rose calmly, and a surge of thunder burst from his palm, forming a massive, spinning lightning sigil in the shape of a dragon.

Ancient Armament—Thunder Dragon Heaven‑Shattering Seal!

Clang! Clang!

The metallic clash of weapon and thunder resounded as sparks scattered through the air. Within moments, the rain of halberd strikes dissolved, absorbed entirely by the rotating seal.

Whoosh!

Taking advantage of the contact, Mo Yu's figure darted forward, stepping on the giant imprint as his body closed the distance instantly. Thirteen streams of deep violet lightning danced along his form, flickering with hissing energy.

The Blood Shark lord's pupils constricted sharply; danger flooded his senses.

Boom!

A storm of power exploded from Mo Yu. His arm swung forward like a thunder god's hammer, his fists becoming the embodiment of destruction as blow after blow crashed toward his enemy.

The savage close‑quarters assault left even distant spectators stunned. The sheer ferocity in Mo Yu's movements rivaled that of genuine beasts.

For a brief moment, the Blood Shark lord faltered. Though powerful, he was caught off guard by the flurry of attacks. Quickly regaining focus, he shifted his halberd from offense to defense.

Each clash sent painful tremors up his arm. Sparks of lightning crawled across his weapon, running into his hands, numbing his body with the overwhelming current.

"Blood Shark Halberd—Raging Slaughter!"

Knowing he couldn't remain defensive, the Blood Shark lord's eyes gleamed with killing light. He channeled his full strength, forming a vortex of force that focused entirely at his halberd's tip.

The air warped. A black void formed around the weapon's edge, warping space itself—its condensed strike capable of tearing apart even reality under the ancient hall's suppression. Any peak Sovereign foolish enough to block it would be obliterated.

"Shura Divine Art—Shura Seal!"

Even as the Blood Shark lord launched his strike, Zhong Cang roared from behind. Dark energy erupted from his palm, forming a pitch‑black sigil of destruction—the Shura Seal, its killing intent powerful enough to annihilate all life within its reach.

Trapped between both attacks, Mo Yu frowned slightly—but his body began to expand, his skin glowing with radiant purple‑gold light until a colossal figure stood in his place.

Great Sun Wild Thunder Body!

Lightning rippled across his golden form as he clenched his fist. The sheer force of wild lightning gathered in his arm before he swung forward, splitting the very air with a crack of black light.

Boom!

His lightning‑clad fist met the Blood Shark Halberd head‑on, the impact unleashing thunderous waves that spread like a collapsing ocean.

In the same instant, Mo Yu turned and struck backward with his other hand. Vast spiritual thunder surged forth, colliding with Zhong Cang's sinister Shura Seal.

Within the lightning swirling around him, thirteen distinct bolts merged together—Thirteen Profound Thunders—magnifying Mo Yu's power far beyond ordinary limits.

The clash erupted with harsh metallic cries and booming echoes, its shockwaves tearing the lake below into violent towers of water. The very world trembled.

Above the thunder lake, the three stood locked in a triangular clash—Mo Yu's right fist pressed against the Blood Shark lord's halberd, his left palm braced against Zhong Cang's attack. Space rippled around their meeting point, bending under the pressure.

Lightning stormed between them as all three poured their power into the struggle, trying to crush the others through sheer might.

Crash!

At last, the energy reached critical mass. With an explosive burst, the clash shattered. Each combatant was blasted backward through the air.

Mo Yu's body flew back several dozen feet before he stomped the void and steadied himself. Across from him, the Blood Shark lord and Zhong Cang had both been hurled hundreds of feet away before regaining balance.

He had stood alone against two—and gained the advantage.

Mo Yu's lips curved coldly. Though his battle techniques originated from Dou Qi Continent—far beneath the Great Thousand World—they still displayed unmatched power when tempered through his mastery of thunder.

For in this realm, true strength did not lie in quantity but in the essence of one's path.

Where others cultivated many attributes, Mo Yu—like his brother N'Golo Kanté of the fire path, the Flame Emperor Xiao Yan—had perfected one. Xiao Yan commanded all flame beneath heaven; Mo Yu would rule all thunder.

In time, he would bring the Way of Thunder to its absolute peak—unshakable by any other power.

Even so, many paths existed under heaven. Lin Dong, the Martial Ancestor who rose from the Tianxuan Continent, mastered multiple attributes through the Eight Ancestral Symbols—wielding thunder, fire, and even absolute ice capable of freezing ancient races born from frost.

The Great Thousand World was boundless, and lower realms still held brilliance of their own. The arts of the lesser planes could rival the divine if refined by the right hand.

That was why Mo Yu, though using "inferior" techniques, now stood above two Bloodrock overlords.

Watching him stand so calmly, the faces of Zhong Cang and the Blood Shark lord darkened. They, apex sovereigns of their domain, had combined their power—and still failed to overpower one man.

The other faction leaders who had been observing grew visibly shaken. None had expected this outsider to withstand, much less suppress, two of their most feared rulers.

"Oh… this Mo Yu is far from simple," murmured Feng Yuanzi, the Dao Palace master, narrowing his ancient eyes.

Beside him, the beautiful Snow Valley mistress—one of the seven Bloodrock overlords—tilted her head slightly. Her white hair fluttered like drifting snow as her voice emerged soft but clear. "Palace Master Feng, you seem to think highly of those outsiders."

Feng Yuanzi chuckled. "Hehe, 'outsiders' or not, I, too, was one once. I came from beyond this realm and founded Dao Palace here after centuries of struggle. Tell me, does that not make me one of them?"

He looked out at Mo Yu with a faint smile. "And that boy was right earlier—the Bloodrock Realm still answers to the Northern Region. If the Northern lords came to claim these relics, could we deny them based on territory?"

The Snow Valley mistress blinked, her delicate lips parting in surprise. "You seem to know this Mo Yu quite well, Palace Master Feng… Could it be that you recognize him?"

The old man's eyes narrowed slightly. "Not personally. But Dao Palace collects intelligence from across the realms. Recently, a certain report reached us from the Western Heaven World… about a man named Mo Yu."

"The Western Heaven World?" Her brows knit. "Then he belongs to the Western Heaven War Hall? Or perhaps one of the Four Great Divine Clans?"

Feng Yuanzi shook his head. "Neither. The report said he came from a lower plane known as the Dou Qi Continent."

"From a lower plane?" She inhaled lightly. "He broke through its boundaries?"

"Indeed," Feng Yuanzi said gravely. "When he arrived in the Great Thousand World, he immediately clashed with one of the Four Divine Clans of the Western Heaven—the Blood God Clan. It's said their four Earth Sovereign elders and even their clan leader intervened personally."

The Snow Valley mistress was startled. "The Blood God Clan's chief is an Upper Earth Sovereign! If that's true… he must've fled here to escape pursuit."

"Hehe, not quite," Feng Yuanzi said softly, his tone filled with awe. "According to those reports, Mo Yu captured Blood Lingzi alive—and then extorted one hundred million Sovereign Spirit Liquids from the Blood God Clan before leaving peacefully."

"What!?"

The normally serene Snow Valley mistress froze, her eyes wide, the calm lake of her gaze trembling with disbelief.

Captured Blood Lingzi alive… and extorted a hundred million Sovereign Spirit Liquids? That silver‑eyed young man before them had done that?

"Is your information certain? And are you sure this Mo Yu is the same one?" she asked breathlessly.

"Rest assured," Feng Yuanzi said calmly. "My sources are never wrong. As for whether this Mo Yu is that Mo Yu…" He paused, his gaze lingering on the brilliant thunder coursing around Mo Yu's enlarged form.

"At first, I wasn't sure. But now… I'm almost certain they are the same person."

"Oh? Why is that?" she asked softly.

"Because," Feng Yuanzi said, his voice low and reverent, "that Mo Yu bears a title… the world calls him—"

"The Thunder Emperor!"
