"W-We did it... we actually did it!!" I say with a kind of broken smile, while Eclipsya and Aqua are collapsed on the ground, utterly exhausted. The three of us just defeated that monster that wanted so badly to kill us.
"I'm glad you're happy, Lycoris... you can eat... but leave some for Azazel..." Aqua speaks, making her way over to Eclipsya, who's still gasping for breath. It took us hours to beat this thing, and I burned through a ton of magic to land the final blow.

I bite down on this thing's shell. Some of my teeth crack because I don't have enough strength to pierce it completely, but I tear and pull, managing to rip off a chunk and chew it.
"Urgh... it tastes so awful..." I chew with tears in my eyes. The taste is kind of sour and extremely bitter, but I have no room to be picky. I don't have Mama Pandora's delicious food from the kingdom anymore.
