Lost in her own thoughts, she suddenly saw a folder handed to her. She looked up and saw her boss, Chu Lianzhao.
"This is the profile of the target in Country K, your new mission."
She took it, feeling even more distressed. It was yet another assassination mission, circling around to the same starting point.
"Boss."
Chu Lianzhao casually put his hand in his pocket. "Hmm?"
"Did you see the news from over in Country S?"
"I did. I've always been following all the news coming out of Country S." Chu Lianzhao's gaze was calm. "Today, they reported on Gu Xichen's lovely wife. I also saw the photo; she's indeed a beauty. Honestly, she's much prettier than you."
Jingsheng looked up at him. "Can't you stop stabbing me in the heart?"
