If Michael had never seen the treasure, he wouldn't have cared. That was normal. After all, how could someone desire something they didn't even know existed?
Unfortunately, Michael had already seen it. Now that he had, simply turning around and pretending the tower didn't exist was almost impossible.
Even if he left this place, the image of the tower would remain somewhere in the back of his mind.
Michael couldn't help but find the current situation somewhat amusing. Before entering the Origin Battlefield, he had wanted absolutely nothing to do with this place.
His reluctance and dislike to this unfamiliar realm was mostly thanks to his cousin. But now, after spending close to three days here, Michael had to admit that he didn't need to be forced to come back. He would return willingly.
Perhaps it was the same for most awakeners who experienced this place.
